Reflections from the Jury
What stood out was the diversity of artistic approaches to the theme, from intimate observations of nature to powerful reflections on conflict and environmental change. The strongest works offered new perspectives, inviting both emotional and intellectual responses.
ARTS WRITER & CURATOR
What struck me was how artists explored water as a witness to our time, carrying memories, histories, and human experiences. Several works also reflected on how we continue to observe the world around us, even in the face of tragedy.
gallery founder
It was inspiring to see how artists uncovered deeper meanings within the theme, creating a dialogue between their works and our present moment. Questions of repetition, indifference, and the ways we choose to see or overlook emerged throughout.
gallery director
I encountered several conceptually ambitious and materially precise works, with thoughtful approaches to painting, installation, and landscape.
curator
What stood out to me was how the artworks could evoke such different emotions, from peace and serenity to hope, wonder, and a sense of urgency.
